the things we can't remember-you have my ring, you know. my thick silver one that says my name. you used to wear it on your pinky because your fingers were too big, clicked it annoyingly against glass surfaces. you also probably still have several of my socks, sticky gummi bears, and the necklace you took from my kitchen and promptly broke.
you still have the note i wrote you in september of 2006, the one i penciled on yellow cardstock that you tucked into your wallet. the fortune from the chinese restaurant that said i would be your wife. a deck of cards that i wrote on, fifty-two reasons why i loved you.

I love how nice people are here at DA. I mean not only are they willing to share some of the most beautiful, moving fucking pieces of art ever created, but they're totally modest about stuff. Hell, they will even thank you for adding to them to your fav's when it's like, no, THANK YOU. I mean I wouldn't add a person a as a fav unless they meant something to me, y'know? And here people are thanking me for appreciating their art. It's amazing. And people aren't afraid to ask for help. I love the lack of elitism. I wish it was more like real life.

Anywayz, I hope to actually get some pics up so people can criticize and help! Cuz I used a digital camera and adobe photoshop for the first time last week and now I'm in love. The only problem is the camera's not mine and neither is adobe.cs, adobe 8, whatever it's referred to as...

But I *so* want to learn. Ha, maybe I'll even be able to make some decent pieces of art myself. Oh well, I can write damn good short movies and I'm proud of that. So, extending myself can't hurt..lol, yea right..(at least ive always been a masochist of some form or another) Besides, even if i am bad, I still love seeing the amazing deviations on here!

and you know what? I completely agree with you! this is the most welcoming community I've ever experienced on the net and am so glad I joined! I would recommend it to anyone who loves and appreciates art and also willing to make new friends!
